I have always been a DIY girlie, and nails have always been an important part of looking and feeling my best without breaking the bank. After realizing I was spending hundreds of dollars on nail appointments, I began thinking about how that money could be saved and used toward other goals, accomplishments, and experiences.

About five years ago, I started doing my own nails—and I never went back to the salon. I discovered that press-on nails could be quick, convenient, comfortable, and glamorous while still helping me save money. From my hands all the way down to my feet, I could create a complete salon-quality look from the comfort of home.

I began receiving compliments and being asked almost daily where I got my nails done. When I told people that I made and applied them myself—and that they were press-ons—they were amazed. I would even tap my nails against a hard surface to show how strong and durable they were. That usually led to the same question: “Do you do nails?”

After hearing from so many women about how affordable, reusable press-on nails could positively change their lives financially, I realized this was bigger than a personal hobby. The custom sets I was creating at home were a clear sign that it was time to turn my passion into a movement.

That is how KeepPressinOnNails was born.
